Yes. iMAT designs and develops all of its products in-house and manufactures at its own facilities in Cape Town and Johannesburg, with an office branch in Durban.
Are the products made in South Africa?
Yes — proudly so. Manufacturing is in Cape Town and Johannesburg. iMAT supplies over 400 local distributors and exports internationally.

Do you install, or only supply?
We support clients from proposal through to on-site installation — our in-house team is with you for the whole project.

Yes. iMAT offers custom solutions that integrate seamlessly with CCTV systems and biometric access control.
Do you offer backup power?
Yes. There is a dedicated Batteries & inverters range — lithium batteries and hybrid inverters — to keep access control running through outages.
