Bringing the IFC into Revit

  1. Download the IFC for the unit.
  2. In Revit, choose Insert › Link IFC to place it as a reference, or File › Open › IFC to edit it.
  3. The files are IFC 2x3 (Coordination View) at true size, exported from our own Revit models, so the units come across with them.

Want to schedule and tag the units like any other family? Ask for the native Revit family (.rfa) below.

ArchiCAD, Vectorworks & others

  1. ArchiCAD: File › Interoperability › Merge, or open the IFC directly.
  2. Vectorworks: File › Import › Import IFC.
  3. SketchUp, Navisworks, Solibri, BIMcollab: open the IFC directly.

The 3D model (GLB) is a lightweight copy for presentations, AR and web viewers. It is not a drawing object.
